To the left is a photograph of the picturesque Stornoway Harbour. Stornoway is the main town of the Isle of Lewis and the Western Isles. Once one of the largest herring fishing ports in Europe the town now only has a small (but highly active) fishing fleet which helps add character to the small town. The Royal Hotel (2 star hotel) is Stornoway's most historic hotel having first opened it's doors in 1850. If you stay at the Royal you will find their Boatshed Restaurant and HS1 Cafe Bar provides excellent cuisine at a very reasonable cost.

The Caladh Inn
The Caladh Inn (2 star hotel) is the largest hotel in Stornoway. Located just outside the town centre it is the closest hotel to Stornoway airport.

The Cabarfeidh Hotel
The Cabarfeidh Hotel (3 star hotel) is reputed to be the finest hotel in Stornoway. Set in it's own lovely, well kept gardens on the outskirts of town the Cabarfeidh Hotel is the most relaxing place to stay.
